Meet Basil of Baker Street // Meet Inspector Roger Crimmins

Combined clips from the Disney film, "The Great Mouse Detective" (1986) and the 1985 "Murder: She Wrote" episode, "Sing a Song of Murder" (S02E05), the introduction to Basil of Baker Street (voiced by Barrie Ingham) and Inspector Roger Crimmins (also Barrie) is an amusing similarity. Basil non-nonchalantly tosses a dart into the bull's eye while Inspector Crimmins is playing darts when Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) enters his New Scotland Yard office.
