From The Great Mouse Detective, there was a scene when Dr Dawson made an error of not watching Olivia Flaversham more carefully. Basil scolds him, but quickly realizes he shouldn't have been too harsh. "It's not entirely hopeless" he tells him, further explaining there's always a chance as long as one can think. September 12th is National Day of Encouragement, to keep that spirit lifted of never giving up.
